Mom's Memorial Services
I am Elona Ellis, from Durham, North Carolina. Multiple Sclorosis took my mom to be with the Lord yesterday. This has been the hardest time in my life as my mom was life. Although, my mom has struggled with a fast progression of MS since 2006, she has always been a breath of fresh air always encouraging anyone around her. Her health was up and down and just when we thought we were seeing progress, she took a turn for the worse. I received a call from the hospital at 6:30in the morning and drove there as quickly as possible only to realize that she gone. I asked the nurses and doctors to revive her so I could say goodbye but there was nothing else that anyone could do.
I didnt realize the magnitude of furneral expenses until today. It is only my sister, neice and myself, and we are at a crossroads, now learning that we do not have sufficent funds needed to give her the proper memorial service. All my mom ever wanted was a proper memorial service, so we could give closure to friends and family. I learned today that we dont have the needed life insurance to give her the proper service which has made things extremely difficult. My sister and neice live in Atlanta while I am here alone in North Carolina. We want to schedule her memorial for next Saturday so any donations that you can provide to give my mom the proper memorial would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for any donations to help my sister and I.
What is MS?
