The early morning of September 20th, 2018, my mother in law's house caught on fire due to an unfortunate electrical fire. Ironically two dogs that she rescued, rescued her and woke her up barking that there was a problem. She ran out of her bedroom to find her house on fire. She tried to put out the fire but was unsuccessful in the attempt. She quickly gathered her daughter and the two dogs and got everyone out safely. She had no time to retrieve anything else out of the residence. She called 911 but it was too late.... the home had already started going up in flames. She lost everything including a place to live. *She is not getting a settlement on the home as she did not own it. *

Jody is a single mother of three. Her Husband of 20 years passed away suddenly. Leaving the family in a rough financial situation. She works full time as a teacher at private school and also has two other jobs. One as a house keeper and tutors students to help make ends meet for her family. She was renting the home from her Stepfather who was only charging her the property taxes on the home. She is currently living at a hotel with her daughter and her two dogs and is unable to continue to work due to the circumstances. She donates money to the ASPCA to help animal and is very active in her church attending every Sunday.

Anything you can do to help her through this rough time is greatly appreciated. We are trying to raise enough to help her get another place to live and to replace the items she has lost. We are trying to raise the funds as soon as possible as her youngest daughter just started college and her two dogs will not be able to continue living in an hotel due to their size.

Thank you so much for your help and God Bless. Please contact me if there is any other way you would like to help.
