Mom is in serious condition

On Saturday, January 2nd my mother was found unresponsive. The squad was able to get her heart started again as they arrived to the emergency room.   It took days for her to “wake up” but unfortunately the scans are not promising.  Since we’re not sure exactly how long she was without oxygen we only have the scans to go on.  We have been told that the likelihood of her returning to her normal self is very poor and that she is more likely to remain in a persistent vegetative state.  

We have the opportunity to bring my sister into town from where she is for what would likely be the last time for her to see our mother, however, it would be pretty expensive to do so.  We’re going to try to raise enough to get her here.  We know that it would mean the world toher and to our mom.
