Mom in Need due to Hit and Run!!!!

On 10/15/18 Our Good Friend Krystina (Krys) Moore was walking to a friends house around 9:15pm, she never made it. Instead, she was struck by a passing car and left lying in the road. Luckily another driver came by soon after the incident. She was then flown to UPMC Altoona in Pennsylvania. She arrived in a coma with blunt head trauma and other head injuries. After emergency surgery to relieve the swelling on the brain, she remains in a coma and is unresponsive; on life support.
She is a great person, that is shy until you get to know and would never hurt a soul. She is mother of Nova Lee which is pictured with her, she just started kindergarten this year.
As we all pray for best, in hopes that Krys fights for her life and comes out of this stronger than ever, we also fear that due to a senseless act of disregard for human life; Nova Lee may be without a mother.
Between the Helicopter Flight to the hospital, emergency surgery, days in the hospital and God willing hopefully rehab and physical therapy to bring her back to 100%. We have no clue on the overall costs.
These funds will go Krys first and foremost, if the unthinkable happens; then these funds will be to provide for Nova Lee.
We live in small town, where these kinds of things don't happen. The incident of that evening have a lot of people searching for answers and justice.

Update on Krys!!
After the swelling went down on her brain, the Doctors were able to get better scans of the damage. We were all hopeful this would bring us the good news we were waiting for. However, the damage to her brain stem is beyond repair and can not be reversed. Krys would never be able to walk, talk, or care for herself ever again; if she was to wake up at all. This became a question of quality of life for Krys, the family and her friends all agree this is not how Krys would want to live.
So, today we will say goodbye to a great young lady that loved her daughter more than she will ever know. We also say goodbye to a great friend that we all loved more than Krys will ever know.
It is an overall sad situation, with an even sadder ending. Now, as we move forward we focus on Nova Lee and her quality of life without a mother. This is the saddest part of the story, no 5 year old should have to say goodbye to their mother.
An arrest has been made and charges have been filed against the driver. We await the outcome of said charges, and given the new situation on Kyrs, some more charges should be pending.
