That’s the title of the news article, and those are the words that came out of his mouth.

My sister-in-law and domestic violence survivor Elizabeth (Liz) was stabbed nearly to death by her husband on the evening of March 17, 2021 in front of her young daughter in their home. She suffered 9 stab wounds and coded while being rushed to the hospital where she had several emergency surgeries and was on life support in the ICU. He wanted her to die, but thankfully she is now in stable condition continuing to fight. Of course, the physical healing is just the beginning. The psychological trauma will long surpass any physical wounds.

Liz has two daughters (ages 7 and 12) who want nothing more than to bring their mom home from the hospital and start a fresh life together. Funds raised will go to medical expenses, therapy, and building a new life without any reminders of the past.
