Mom Deserves a Proper Funeral & Burial!!

We received a very sad phone call Thursday night from Gerrit’s 25 year old daughter, Marcella, who lives in Holland. Marcella’s mom was laid off recently from the Elderly Care Home where she worked due to The Coronavirus Pandemic. Due to being laid off she dropped all the extra cost things (Life Insurance & Health Insurance etc.) just to survive during these trying times. Tragically though, Johanna, contracted the Coronavirus 2 weeks ago. Her neighbor went to the grocery store to buy her some groceries on Thursday and when she got back & Johanna didn’t answer the door she called the cops and they came and broke down the door to find that Johanna had sadly passed away. Marcella answered her door early Friday morning to 2 police officers standing there with the tragic news that her Mom had Passed Away. Gerrit is on his way to Holland to be with his Daughter & Help her Plan her Moms Funeral. Marcella has been off of work since the Pandemic started and doesn’t have $$ for a funeral. Gerrit & I haven’t been able to work since March. In the midst of all of this we now need to Help Marcella financially with Funeral costs to give her mom a proper burial in Holland. My heart breaks for my Step-Daughter I wish I wasn’t in a position that I needed to ask for help. We appreciate each of you & every dollar your able to give to help Marcella during this time.
