My mom was assaulted while selling tamales in south central. This happened across the street from Washington Park on Firestone Blvd and Maie Ave. She has been selling tamales to the people in the community for about 15 years. Two African American females around their 20s  got off a car that had no license plate and ran towards her where she was selling. They both started hitting her and then ran away and got in the car. There was a male African American in the car waiting for them near 87th st.  This fundraiser is to help for her medical costs, an attorney, and her daily living expenses such as food and bills since she won't be working for a while due to the incident. This is REAL. Happened today 8/12/2020 around 9-10am. We don’t know how much the medicalbill from the paramedics is going to be since it barely happened this morning. Medical bill are always so expensive even if they just check your blood pressure, etc.
