Over the past 6 months, our lives have been turned upside down in ways that make raising a teenage cancer survivor alongside a developmentally disabled child - all while healing from traumatic brain injury with narcolepsy and a lifelong Hypothyroid condition seem EASY.

Despite the MANY abuses I previously suffered at my estranged husband's hands, despite our marriage deteriorating long ago - out of appreciation for the years of financial support I received while staying home raising our children - I've done my best to help him navigate the severe mental-health-related crisis his decisions not only created but cost him his job as well.

After refusing to accept inpatient and outpatient care, his behavior continues to spiral. I truly feel that moving where we have a large support network in Kingsport, Tennessee, is absolutely necessary.

To ensure I can start working when we arrive, I've already secured contract employment through a local staffing agency. In the meantime, I'm selling all of my clothing and home decor on Poshmark and Depop. I have no vehicle, no credit and no money but I'm working as hard as I possibly can to turn our lives around.
