Mom Almost Killed in Car Crash - Please Help

On Friday, April 2, I was making breakfast for my daughter when I got a phone call from my mom. I picked up the phone, expecting a friendly morning chat. But the words that came out of her mouth were anything but that.
“I was in a horrible accident and I broke 7 ribs and my back.”
My first thought was that it was an April Fool’s Day joke and she forgot what day it was. Once it sunk in and I realized that what she was saying was true, my heart sunk.
In addition to the broken bones, she also suffered significant facial damage and a slight concussion.
The car was damaged so badly, they had to use Jaws of Life to extract her.
Unfortunately, she now does not have a car or income, as she was working as a driver for Uber and other ridesharing services. She also has her medical expenses. Hopefully, she will be able to work again in about 6 months (maybe longer), but we are in desperate need of help to get through this time.
I (Chloe, her oldest daughter) have put my life on hold to come to Dallas from New Hampshire to take care of her, along with my sister (Hilary) who lives in Plano. Luckily, I am able to work from Texas, but the expense to drive here and take care of her is going to be stressful for our family as well.
We figure we are going to need about $20,000 to cover her (including medical expenses and getting a car). As soon as she is more physically able to move, we plan on selling the house and having her move into a smaller place, i.e., a townhome or apartment. But until then, it is best to keep her home. To start, we are hoping to raise $5,000 to get through the next month. UPDATE: Insurance isn't covering anything, so we need to cover all of her medical expenses and loss of work on our own. We are looking into other options for help, but those things take time.
We are also looking at other financing options, but those take time to get started.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. If you cannot contribute, sharing this with your network will help get the word out and increase the chances of getting my mom through the next few months.
