My father, Mark Anthony Avila, passed after a run in with police and being tased, he had a fractured skull, brain bleed and with no brain surgeons in Clayton, he was brain dead within hours of his accident. After being transferred to Lubbock UMC Health, they found 3 receiptients to donate organs to. One got his liver, one got his heart and one kidney, and the other got his other kidney. We are blessed to call him our hero. We rose a flag in his honor.
Services will be held at: Kirkwood Memorial Presbyterian Church

Tuesday the 11th, at Noon.
His reasons for the run in with the law, is to be determined, but the last I heard or seen him, he was sober. Joyful.
We gather to celebrate this beautiful life taken too soon. ❤️
