Hi everyone. My eldest daughter, Molly, has an amazing opportunity to travel to the International Scout Centre in Kandersteg, Switzerland, with her Scout group 8th Wakefield.

The full cost of the trip is £1200 and she also needs specialist equipment.

Molly is autistic and has struggled with friendships and social interaction. That she wants to go on this trip is a huge step forward for her and I'm really proud of her courage.

I'm a single parent. Finances are tight. I do my absolute best to provide my children with every opportunity I can. This trip is a major expense and any help you can offer would be very gratefully received.

The Scout group are fundraising as a whole, which Molly is involved in.

In addition, Molly is going to undertake a sponsored sleep out.

For the whole of the summer holiday, she's going to sleep in a tent in the back garden, apart from the first 2 weeks of August when she'll be sleeping in a tent in Cornwall!
