Molly's Half Marathon for PLAEP

Tax deductible
In 2017, 2018, and 2019, over 90 people have come together and gifted Musonda Community School in Zambia with $14,000. Because of YOU, Musonda has new classroom tables for group work, 20 brand new computers (that then inspired a local internet provider to triple the amount of computers in the Computer Lab), and a completely built and furnished the Science Lab! May of 2019, I got to return to Zambia & SEE everything in person and it blew me away!! November of 2019, before the world shut down, Prisca (the Executive Director of PLAEP) and her husband visited KC and met so many of you!

This year, I am running another 13.1 miles in the KC Marathon on October 16th for our friends at this same community school in Zambia! In our 4th year our beginning goal is $4,500 to create a full kitchen for the ladies to cook on site, purchase cafeteria tables for students to share meals at, and built a playground area for sports and recess! (make sure to watch the video below where Prisca describes and shows the project) All donations go straight to PLAEP and all materials are bought and built locally in Zambia. Thank you so much for partnering with me and Musonda Community School.

Each dollar raised through these the races matters more than we could ever imagine! In fact, because of these advancements, Musonda Community School has become an approved exam center for orphans as they continue in to get and education. This means thousands of students have not have to travel or pay the high fees to continue their education!! A sigh of relief and so much HOPE. Hope for a future. Hope to break the cycle of poverty to entangles so our many families.
