As many of you know, Molly was diagnosed with a rare tracheal disease in August of this past year. She has undergone 5 surgeries to date to try and open her airway and none of them have taken. Due to her low oxygen levels and reduced stamina she has been unable to work basically this entire school year. We did a campaign for her back in September and it was a tremendous help to her as her travel costs for treatments and medical bills were beyond what she could pay. Molly has finally been cleared to have total airway reconstruction surgery done by one of the leading specialists in the US for tracheal stenosis. Since she has been unable to work, she has had to forego her regular paycheck and give up her additional jobs as well. Molly will be traveling to the Cleveland clinic in a few weeks for this surgery and on top of her medical bills she will also be required to stay in the area for at least 3 weeks as it is a two part surgery and the risks of inflammation and her airway being cut off are at high risk. She has been beyond grateful for all the help she has received so far and is hoping this is the final piece that will put her back to her old self. This has been a giant emotional and financial strain on her and her family this year and she is extremely grateful and anything you can do to help her out with what is finally her final leg of this journey is more appreciated than you will ever know. She feels beyond blessed by the amazing support she has received during this time and can't wait to get back to her old self and spend lots of her time giving back.
