Molly’s Story

Molly isn’t just a dog. She’s our little shadow, our daily happiness, our family.

She’s the most active, loving girl. She loves everyone oh.. and she loves cats she is love them watching in the tv or play with my friends cats. She’s always ready to play, go for a walk, or go on a little adventure somewhere new. She gets excited about the smallest things.

She’s funny too she’s scared to walk over bridges, but she’ll jump straight into water without a second thought.

Nine years of memories. Nine years of loyalty. Nine years of unconditional love.

Then one night, without any warning, without any history of problems, our front door neighbour shot her with an air rifle while she was in our own garden.

The pellet went through her tiny body and stopped under the skin on the other side. The damage inside was severe. Seeing her like that is something I will never forget.

She has already had multiple surgeries. She is still in hospital, in intensive care, fighting for her life. Every phone call from the vet makes our hearts stop.

I have already paid nearly £7,000 myself. Our insurance has a limit for one condition, and the total bill is now around £15,000 and still rising quickly. I never imagined we would be in this position.

I know there are bigger problems in the world. I know many people are struggling. But Molly has been with us for 9 years. She is my emotional support, my best friend, my comfort on the hardest days. The house doesn’t feel the same without her.

I just want the chance to bring her home again.
