Molly Rockwells Family Expenses
Donation protected
My beautiful cousin Molly Rockwell, was tragically killed in a car accident yesterday (11/11/2020) in NH. The driver was speeding (88 mph on a 1-lane, divided, main road) She was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected through the windshield. Molly was airvac'd from Derry NH to Brigham & Women's in Boston with numerous life threatening injuries. Although they endeavored to save her life a severe brain injury prevailed.
After the accident, her sister Haley drove to Parkland Hospital in NH and then on to Brigham & Women's accompanied by her uncle Tommy Rockwell for support. Haley spent the day standing vigil outside, waiting to see her sister. Due to Covid 19, she was unable to be with Molly. Sadly, Haley was notified from the waiting area, that her sister would not recover. Only then, did they allow her in.
Upon their arrival from the airport, Sue Weed-Rockwell and Bill Rockwell were able to say goodbye to their daughter who'd been maintained on life support on their behalf.
Molly unfortunately did not have any insurance; Vehicle, health or life.
As many have asked how they can be of assistance, any donations toward final expenses would be much appreciated. As well, the cost of unexpected travel arrangements have taken a financial toll.
As expenses arise, we will continue to inform and possibly update the goal $ amount.
Services will not be immediate, but she will be cremated and we will dedicate her ashes to Bear Island on Lake Winnepesaukee next summer. There she will be in the good company of welcoming family that has gone before in the place that she loved the most! On behalf of Sue, Bill, Haley and Molly, Thank you for all the prayers, light & love. Every bit helps. Edit, 11/13; friends & family have asked me to raise the limit, as not all inexpenses were considered at the time I threw this together. Thank you to all for this amazing response. Sue & Bill are overwhelmed with your generosity
