My oldest daughter Molly (she is 14) for the last 8 months has had a rare tumour in her bladder. She is only the fourth child to ever have this tumour.
It has been removed 3 times now and combining that with chemo therapy and yet it is still growing. We are now heading for an MRI as well are starting a new year long aggressive chemo treatment this week.
All of the specialist we have seen are telling us it’s “weird” and that isn’t really what you want to hear from the people who are supposed to be the experts.
As you can imagine The stress of of watching my daughter go through this fight and being helpless is heartbreaking to me. As a dad you just want to fix things for your kids so with that I am trying to turn over every stone to ensure she gets the absolute best care possible.
If the need should arise i want to make sure we are in a position to take whatever steps we need to save her life.
