On Thursday, December 12th at about 9:15am, Molly was driving along a rural highway in Florida when a dump truck failed to yield at a stop sign. She struck the dump truck at full speed and suffered a critical brain injury. We thank God for the couple that was behind her that called for help, climbed into the car with her, held up her head so she could breathe, and prayed for her until paramedics came.

Molly was airlifted to the Trauma Center at Southeast Alabama Medical Center, two hours from their home in Santa Rosa Beach, FL. She immediately underwent a craniectomy to relieve some of the pressure on her brain. Since then she has been in the neuro ICU where they have been working on stabilizing her temperature, heart rate, and electrolytes, preventing seizures, monitoring her blood loss, and controlling her pain. Along with her critical brain injury, she sustained fractures of her breastbone, rib bones, vertebrae, ankle, and facial bones. She's had a CT scan each day to monitor the swelling on her brain. As of this afternoon, the swelling has not changed since yesterday. She's unconscious but has been responding at times to pain.

Today we're grateful that her facial fractures will not require surgery, her temperature has normalized, her heart rate has come down, and she does not appear to be in pain. We are also grateful for all of your prayers, love, positivity, and generous donations. Every bit helps to relieve some of the financial burden of all of these unforeseen expenses. Molly feels all of your prayers, love, and positivity, and we have been telling her constantly how loved she is by so many people.

Also, as some of you know, Molly's stepdad, Jerry, underwent a triple bypass surgery on Thursday and is now in critical condition in Albany, GA. Please pray for his recovery and for Donna's strength during this extremely difficult time. We will continue to update you as things progress.

Please be generous with your donations and constant in your prayers for Molly, Tom, Arlo and their extended families and friends.

Everyone has asked how they can help and this is the best possible way.

With love,

Molly’s Crew
