Molly Maid of Birmingham Shutdown Employee Relief
Donation protected
When Michigan Governor Whitmer's COVID-19 Executive Order forced Molly Maid of Birmingham & SE Oakland County to completely close, all of our employees were put on temporary unpaid leave. Both our company's revenues - and our employees' incomes - immediately dropped to zero.
Many of our employees have limited means and no savings, so they counted on receiving unemployment benefits to help them through the beginning of the COVID-19 crisis. Unfortunately, because of the massive backlog of new unemployment claims, many of our employees did not receive ANY unemployment checks during the first six weeks.
Fortunately, with the generous contributions from our customers and friends, we have been able to distribute almost $500 to each employee so far.
We are humbled by and tremendously grateful for your support.
Thank you very, very much!
Stay safe,
Brian
