Mollie is Stronger Than Covid!

Hello everyone,

As many of you know, Mollie had contracted Covid-19 in late August which led to her being hospitalized for nearly a week. While in the ICU, she was diagnosed with pneumonia and severe sepsis (a potentially fatal complication of infection) due to the virus. She was unable to have any visitors or even “get well soon” flowers. Since being discharged, her labs have improved but her lungs have not shown as much improvement as hoped. She is also still on supplemental oxygen at all times. Because of this, Mollie is unable to go out and do things, interact with others, or even walk around without fatigue. It has been a terrifying and lonely experience.

If that weren’t scary and awful to go through in itself, Mollie is currently uninsured after leaving a toxic work environment and accepting a part time job, where she is much more supported and appreciated, but unfortunately is not eligible for insurance.

Mollie is working on getting insurance, but she is currently facing an exceptionally large medical bill. We’re looking for help to aid Mollie in getting her medical debt paid down, taking away some of the stress to allow her to heal better. I think we all know Mollie as a generous person and solid friend, and we’d like to try and support her in healing and feeling like she’s not alone. We know she has a cavalry rooting for her! We ask that you donate whatever you can to get this girl’s infectious laugh back and leave an encouraging message that will show Mollie how much support she has.
