Help raise funds for the 1st Waldorf Kindergarten in Albania

My name is Gledis, and I'm raising funds to help support the first Waldorf Kindergarten in Albania, called Mollakuqe. It is located near the beautiful coastal city of Durres. I am very passionate about this pedagogy and believe that it is truly what Albania needs at this time. Parents are seeking out exactly what the kindergarten is offering and it truly brings joy to my heart to know that this is what our world needs right now.

As many of you may know, opening a kindergarten is no easy feat, but they are all so dedicated in educating children with a deep sense of reverence and they take thier work very seriously.

This journey has been a three year long process of looking for a qualified teacher. Since they are the first in Albania there is not much accessibility to many resources, even finding a teacher that can teach the pedagogy has been a true act of faith and patience. They were ready to give up, but it seems that the universe had other plans for them. They found a teacher from Toronto, Canada with seven years of experience immersed in the Waldorf Pedagogy.

However, since this is the first kind of school in the country everything is paid for out of pocket, and their funds are running low, so I wanted to extend myself out and ask for help from my community to complete and put the finishing touches on this beautiful new kindergarten. They still need to finish furnishing the classroom, buy some more toys and finish building the outdoor play area. The funds will all be going into the materials needed to run a successful Waldorf kindergarten program.

Our world is in dire need of healing and transformation and their mission at Mollakuqe is truly an act of servitude and their mission is to be able to provide quality education for their country, Albania.
