Hey you guys! Some of you know me, but for the ones who don’t, me and my daughter just moved into these apartments 4 months ago! As of right now, I’m dealing with a landlord who does not care about the safety of my child. I have brought this concern to them multiple times on different occasions.

I saw the mold in my tub first, and all they did was come and scrape it out. They didn’t try to assess the situation to see how bad it was or anything. A couple of weeks later, I saw a brown patch coming out of the wall in my laundry room, so I called them once again. All they did that day was come out and paint over it. (THAT BROWN SPOT WAS MOLD). Once they painted over it, it seeped right back through the paint. At that point, I just called corporate because I felt like nothing was being done. Corporate had my landlord and maintenance come out to view it, which I thought was gonna be the end of this! Not at all though. They cut into the wall, and as you can see in the pictures, this is what was behind the wall! Then they had the audacity to leave it just like that, never came back to patch the wall up. It’s still open just like that. They lied and said they were gonna go get something to stop the mold from growing but never came back!

I reached back out to corporate, and guess what the lady did? SHE BLOCKED ME! I have proof. I’ve tried to get one of those free lawyers, but they won’t pick up the case unless it’s affecting Cali, which is crazy. Also, my neighbors told me that my unit, the unit above me, and the unit behind me flooded a few years ago. They’re trying to say it’s a leak, which is why the mold is there, but that’s not true! The mold came from that flood, and they just never fixed the issue, so now it’s a bigger problem they don’t wanna face. If you guys can help donate anything, that would be great. Me and my daughter can’t keep living like this! It’s unsafe for both of us, she’s only 4! And I have asthma !!
