Hi, thanks so much for taking the time to read this. This is an urgent fundraiser for a wonderful family (Chris and Lisa Hooper and their four daughters) who have been hit with numerous serious illnesses and just now discovered they have a lot of dangerous mold throughout their home.
The first serious illness occurred in 2014 when their daughter, Luka began to suffer from a debilitating disease called Autoimmune Encephalitis. Her immune system attacks her brain so she is in constant pain day after day year after year. After discovering Luka's illness the father, Chris, was also diagnosed with Autoimmune Encephalitis and has had to be on disability ever since. This past year, two of their other daughters began having serious health issues and so questions arose about where all this illness in one family could be coming from.
Just yesterday it was shockingly discovered that there is serious and highly dangerous mold (including black mold) throughout the Hooper's house. Because of years of ongoing medical costs and being on disability, the Hoopers do not have the finances available to de-mold their house.
Because of this, we are trying to raise $21,500 to fully de-mold the entire house and replace all the flooring with mold in it. Our hope and prayer is that some or much of the sickness they have been enduring will get better if we can help them return to a mold-free home.
Thank you SO MUCH for any help you can give.
