Mold has taken over.......Please help
Donation protected
- My insurance company has denied the claim stating that the mold is not covered in my homeowners insurance policy. They claim the roof does not have water damage. Three estimates from roofing companies have confirmed that there is water intrusion from leaks in the roof. Now I am forced to relocate because my home is unsafe, unhealthy and unsanitary. I have a compromised immune system and cannot live in these conditions. The house has mold in the attic, walls, and baseboards. I also have an autistic son who lives with me. No one should have to live like this when you have been insurance premiums faithfully for 20 years. All donations will go towards repairs of home, mold removal, storage fees and any related expenses. Any assistance will be much appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Hi, my name is Lynn and I am a single disabled mom with a big problem. I discovered mold in one of my bedrooms and upon doing research to find the source of the problem I was told that my attic was filled with mold. My son and I suffer from allergies but now realize our issues may be mold related. I live off of my monthly check and definitely do not have the ability to pay for the process of removing the mold. The longer we sit and do nothing the worse the situation becomes as well as our health. My homeowners policy does not cover mold and I have researched other agencies to help but to no avail. Asking for help is not what I"m used to doing but at this point I have no choice. It is very unfortunate that there are no resources to help low income families in these types of situations.
