Reaching three Intermediate Championship finals in three years, Molaise Gaels finally made a return to the ranks of Senior Championship Football by winning the Intermediate Football Championship Final on October 9th in Markievicz Park. That was the plan when the lads sat down with their management team on a cold and wet night in January last and their commitment and dedication got them there. Now that goal has been achieved, sights are set on the Connacht Club Intermediate Championship and the first hurdle, the quarter-final against Galway Intermediate Champions, Dunmore McHales. While there will be no let up on the commitment, dedication and training demonstrated on the journey so far, the costs involved are substantial. This is where you can play your part as a supporter. We are seeking contributions to go towards the players' travel, training & sustenance costs and would appreciate whatever amount you can afford to give.
