On Saturday, December 17, 2016, the Mojarro-Garcia wedding party was taking pictures at Penn Park in Whittier, CA when a massive eucalyptus tree fell, taking the life of the bride’s mother, Margarita Mojarro, and injuring eight others, including 3-year old Isabel, who had to undergo head surgery.
Nothing and no one will ever replace Margarita and everything she meant to so many. She was a one of a kind mother and we all miss her terribly! While we will never fully recover from losing her, we are all trying to recover as best we can from our physical injuries. Due to fractured and broken limbs, broken ribs, gashes, and other wounds, none of us will be able to return to work soon, and the hospital and doctor bills, and funeral expenses are mounting.
