In the spring of my junior year of high school, I was diagnosed with diffuse large b cell lymphoma cancer. After undergoing super intensive, in-patient chemotherapy as a 17 year old, I beat cancer in months. On October 1st, 2014 - I was officially announced in remission. My cancer journey did not end there. While I had passed the physical pain, for many years after, I faced the mental trauma of what having cancer means. But this year, after one of my hardest years ever - I have grown. And with growth come celebrations.
