Moira & Lauren’s Great North Run Fundraiser ‍♀️

Hi everyone! This year we’re taking on the Great North Run to raise money for Children’s Cancer North – a great local charity that does amazing work.

Every year, around 100 children across the North East and Cumbria are diagnosed with cancer. Children’s Cancer North is dedicated to making life better for them and their families – from funding vital research into kinder, more effective treatments, to bringing comfort and support during some of the hardest times.

The money we raise will go directly towards:

✨ Groundbreaking research at the Wolfson Childhood Cancer Research Centre in Newcastle, finding treatments that save lives while being gentler on children’s bodies.

✨ Activities on the wards – like animation, music therapy and yoga – making hospital a brighter place for young patients.

✨ Family support funds, helping with the hidden costs of treatment such as petrol, parking and specialist therapy travel.

✨ Family breaks, giving families precious time together away from the wards.

Any donation, big or small, will make such a difference – and we’ll be thinking of every single one of you when we’re running those 13.1 miles!
