Help Mo kick Cancer's Butt
Donation protected
On July 31st, an amazing friend, sister, daughter, neice, aunt and mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. While it's a diagnosis nobody ever wants to hear, at just 29 years old and with 2 very young children, it had the potential to be absolutely devestating, but our Melissa took it like a champ. Throughout the last 2 months, she has kept her head up, put on a brave face and showed everyone who knows her exactly what courage looks like. On September 3rd, she had her left breast removed. Just a week later, she could be seen on facebook showing her bandages, with her thumb high in the air. A true champion. This upcoming week, she will enter a new phase of this battle, and that is where we all come in. Melissa is set to endure 8 debilitating rounds of chemotherapy. She will not be able to return to work for an undetermined length of time. By giving generously, we can all help Melissa and her family put all their energy towards fighting (and winning) the battle of Melissa's life without stressing about expenses.
