Mohanty-Truitt Family - Family Care and Expenses

It is with a heavy heart that we share the devastating news that Luke Truitt, loving and dedicated father, husband, and son suddenly and tragically passed on September 19, 2021. Luke was taken from us much too soon when he had a fatal heart attack while on a hike with his family in Costa Rica.

Luke is the proud father of two wonderful boys – Leo (13) and Milan (9). He was so proud of Leo’s soccer and engineering talents and Milan’s interest in jiu jitsu, in which Luke himself was a black belt. He was a very involved father and you could often find him cheering the boys on at games, science competitions and art fairs. He was married to his loving wife and best friend, Manali for 15 years, and was a very supportive husband, moving the family to Costa Rica to support her career dreams. He was also a very thoughtful son, often helping his parents, Brent and Janice Truitt, with anything they needed. His friends and family are shattered by this sudden and tremendous loss.
