The eyes shed tears and the heart feels pain, but we utter only what pleases our Lord.

إنا لله و إنا إليه راجعون

It is with a heavy heart that I inform you of the passing of our dear uncle and father Mohamud Abdi Dalla. A loving father and brother, who has spent many years struggling with illness. We hope that he has returned to the mercy of Allah with his sins completely expiated.

The Prophet ﷺ said: “When a person dies, all his good deeds come to an end except three: ongoing charity, or beneficial knowledge, or a righteous child who will pray for him.”

As friends of the Dalla family we ask for your generosity in helping us to alleviate their hardship during this very difficult time. We hope to donate any money raised to cover the funeral costs and give the family aid during this time. We also kindly ask for your du’as for Adeer Mohamud and his family.

May Allah have mercy on Adeer Mohamud’s soul. May He the Most Merciful grant him Jannatul Firdaws. May Allah widen his grave and make it a garden from the gardens of Paradise. May Allah make his illness an expiation of his sins. May He place sakeenah in his family’s hearts and grant them the sabr to endure this difficult time.
