Urgently Raising Funds to Prevent Becoming Homeless

Update: I’m still trying to raise funds and need a lot of help to reach my fundraising goal. I’ve been out of work for nearly one year after speaking out against anti-Blackness and can’t secure a new job due to my significant policy and political advocacy work leading civil society efforts on current events. As a result of my ongoing situation, I am also raising funds for legal fees.

My name is Mohammed, and I am urgently raising funds because I am at immediate risk of becoming homeless and losing everything.

I lost my job leading historic policy and advocacy work on foreign policy and domestic political issues three days after Election Day in November 2024, and have been out of work and unable to secure a new job for nearly one year.

Since losing my job, I have fallen into thousands of dollars of debt and have to raise funds ASAP to prevent becoming homeless and falling into deeper financial struggles.
