Mohammed Barakat, stuck in Sudan’s war

My Name is Mohammed Barakat

and I’m Sudanese 28 year old from Khartoum, on the 15th of April and war broke out between the Sudanese armed forces (SAF) And a paramilitary group called the Rapid support forces (RSF).

Me and my family we have been stuck in Khartoum in the midst of the conflict for 7 months now, experiences everything from air strikes, gun fire, electricity outages that last up to 20 days, along with shortages in water, food and medicine.

we’re living in constant fear and terror being that we are surrounded by RSF forces and in danger of the air strikes or random a misfire.

No one is able to work nor is there any work opportunities where we are at.

I’m reaching out for help to get me and my family of 6 to safety and hopefully a mean of leaving the country.

There’s no indicators that things are to going to be resolved anytime soon.
