Hi dear friends,
Mohamed Salah tells his story about his extremely difficult situation in Gaza, The winter is rude , people and children die of the cold ....
Before the war,
I was a simple person, full of life and dreams.
I woke up every morning with new hope, laughed from the heart, and planned for a future that I saw as close and beautiful.
I had ambitions, small dreams that grew with me, and ordinary but warm days.
I believed that tomorrow would be better, that fatigue was temporary, and that joy was everyone's right.
Life, despite its simplicity, was full of reassurance.
After the war
Today, I have changed a lot...
Dreams are no longer what they used to be, and laughter does not come easily.
I count the days, not the achievements, and memorise the names of my loved ones for fear of losing them.
The war stole our security and took with it things that cannot be replaced.
I have become strong by necessity, patient despite my brokenness.
I live on a faint hope... but it is still alive.
I am still here, despite the pain, carrying a heavy burden and a heart that has not learned to give up.
