Mohammad Hussain - Needs Kidney Operation
Donation protected
Bula, I am writing on behalf of Mohammed who has not asked for any help, but greatly needs it.
Mohammed Hussain is our 22 year old Commis Chef. Mohammed is a talented young chef who joined us as a trainee and due to his work ethic, and desire to learn, stayed on and last year in June became a commis chef working in our extremely busy nuku and poolside lunch team.. He travels over an hour each way every day to come to work from Ba by hitching or catching a bus. His dedication and commitment is very commendable and shows his desire to grow professionally and personally. Even with his health issues, if he can manage his pain levels, he comes to work and gives it his all.
Mohammed has been coming to work experiencing crippling pain and after taking him to the hospital, it was discovered that he has a large cyst on his right kidney that can only be rectified by having surgery.
As he has just started his career journey, Mohammed has very little savings and does not have the money to pay for this surgery and Fiji does not have this service available in the public hospital system and Mohammed does not have medical cover.
We are fundraising to try and help Mohammed with these much-needed funds before 11 May when his surgery is scheduled. If payment is not made in advance, the local private hospital will not conduct the surgery.
Any support or donation no matter how big or small will make a huge difference for Mohammed. He has very little support to no support from his family, so we, his Hilton vuvale (family) are doing everything we can to assist him.
Vinaka vakalevu in advance for your kind consideration and hopefully support.
Kind Regards
Carey
