Mohammad and his family, who faithfully served the US military, were recently evacuated out of Afghanistan and arrived in Amarillo as refugees. He was a very smart and kind 28 year old man, who had worked as a pharmacist in his home country. As soon as he was able to work in the United States, he got a job at Walmart. Tragically, last Friday at 2:00 AM, he was riding his bicycle home after a shift when he was struck by a car. He passed away on Monday.
