This fundraiser is a testament to the profound bonds of friendship that endure in life and beyond. Our dear brother, Mohamed Said Isslam, was a pillar of strength, wisdom, and inspiration for over 20 years. To those privileged to know him, Mohamed was not just a friend but a confidant, mentor, and beacon of success. His untimely passing after a courageous battle with illness has left his family and loved ones in profound shock and grief. For us, his friends, it is an immeasurable loss that will forever leave a mark on our hearts. Yet, we strive to honor his memory with the strength and acceptance he so gracefully embodied.

Mohamed leaves behind his loving parents, a devoted wife, and two beautiful daughters (Waliya 12 and Maliza 8) who were the light of his life. He also touched an extended network of siblings, in-laws, and friends with his kindness and generosity. As we grapple with this heartbreak, we feel compelled to come together and support the young girls who lost a caring and devoted father far too soon. While no one can fill Mohamed's shoes, and no gesture can ever replace his presence, we have a moral and heartfelt duty to stand by his family in their time of need.
