We gather in memory of Mohamed Ghazzi, whose departure from this world came unexpectedly through a tragic car accident on Sunday 14th of April. As we reflect on his life, we remember a man of exceptional character, who provided joy to his family and friends. Our dear brother Ghazzi was a devout believer, the most genuine and kindest friend, and a beacon of humour and entertainment to everyone around him. Ghazzi’s sudden loss has left a painful mark on his loved ones.His absence is truly felt by his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Ghazzi's personality was a light in the lives of many, making his passing a painful loss.

In keeping with teachings of Islam, we have initiated a Sadaqah Jariyah in Mohamed Ghazzi's honor. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, "When a man dies, his deeds come to an end except for three things: Sadaqah Jariyah (ongoing charity); knowledge which is beneficial, or a virtuous descendant who prays for him". The funds raised will be channeled into charitable projects that will provide continuous benefits, such as building wells, schools, or supporting orphans. These deeds will, insha'Allah, accrue ongoing rewards for Mohamed, aiding him in his journey beyond this life. May Allah widen his grave. Every donation, no matter the size, is valuable. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) taught us that even half a date in charity can be enough if given sincerely. So please donate any amount to our brother.

Mohamed Ghazzi deserves our best efforts in raising this money; contributing to this cause is the least we can do for our brother. We urge everyone to participate, reflecting Mohamed’s generosity and furthering his positive impact on the world. As we move forward, let us remember that each contribution to this Sadaqah Jariyah not only honors Mohamed’s memory but also increases his good deeds from beyond the grave. May Allah accept our efforts, forgive and have mercy on Mohamed, and grant him Jannatul Firdaus. Ameen.
