Hello everyone,

Thank you for taking the time to be here today,

My name is Daniel Rodriguez and like so many of us around the world, I have been horrified to witness the devastation happening to the people of Gaza,

I was moved to direct that energy into action and so I have started this fundraiser to help my friend Mohamed, and his family survive and overcome in the midst of a terrible crisis of safety and lack of access to basic needs like food,

Below is a bit about Mohamed in his own words,

“Hello. Since the beginning of the war, we have been suffering from a lack of food and clean water. We have been displaced more than eight times, and our house was destroyed. Now, we have no home to live in.

There is no source of income, and we cannot afford to buy essential life necessities.

We are living in crowded camps where people suffer from skin diseases, lack of water and food, and no cleaning supplies.

We are experiencing malnutrition, and even my baby is suffering — I can’t provide milk or diapers.

I hope for some assistance so I can provide my family with what we need to survive.”
