URGENT HELP NEEDED FOR MOHAMED AND HIS FAMILY IN GAZA

Dear Friends,

I reach out to you today with a heavy heart and an urgent plea for assistance. My name is Vicky, and I write to you from London, representing Mohammad and his family, who are facing unimaginable hardships amidst the ongoing crisis in Gaza.

The situation in occupied Palestine, particularly in Gaza, has escalated to unprecedented levels of devastation. Mohamed , like countless others, has endured the unbearable loss of loved ones, the destruction of his home, and the shattering of his dreams. Moreover, he has been deprived of the opportunity to pursue his education due to the relentless turmoil. Mohamed was in his first year of University. Happy to start a new stage and embark on his future at the University of Palestine located in Al-Zahra, south of Gaza City.

Since October 7th, life in Gaza has become a daily struggle for survival. Recent tragedies, including the loss of twelve lives during a desperate attempt to retrieve relief packages from the water, underscore the dire circumstances faced by Mohamed and his family. With limited access to essential resources such as food, water, and medication, their plight has become increasingly desperate.

Currently, Mohamed and approximately twenty of his family members are residing in makeshift shelters constructed from nylon sheets and wood beams. Their living conditions are deplorable, lacking even the most basic necessities and leaving them vulnerable to starvation, illness, and further tragedy.

Compounding their suffering are the restrictions imposed by the Israeli government, which hinder the delivery of life-saving aid to those in need. In this time of crisis, Mohamed is unable to create a GoFundMe page on his own. That's why I've taken it upon myself to reach out to you, seeking your support to alleviate his family's plight and help them rebuild their lives. Due to the imminent entry of the Israeli army into Rafah independent of negotiations with the Palestinian government. All the funds collected will be spend on basic needs to survive as long as the war continues, water, food supplies, eSIM cards, clothing, transport, medicines and any urgent needs that may arise in everyday life.

* Transparency and Direct transfer of Funds *

All donations are transferred in full to Mohamed every month, without any deductions. 100% of the funds go directly to his personal bank account. This process is carried out with complete transparency and trust, ensuring that your contributions reach him exactly as intended.

It’s also worth noting that this campaign has undergone a thorough review, confirming that it meets all the necessary requirements and is approved to move forward.

We want to make it clear that all funds raised in Mohammed’s campaign are used exclusively to cover the family’s most basic needs for survival until the war ends. Mohammed and his family have lost absolutely everything, and the support you provide is vital for them to endure these extremely difficult circumstances.

As we fundraiser, the goal will be adjusted as needed to ensure continued access to basic daily needs for survival for my dear friend and his family.

The money raised is used entirely for:

• Food: Mohammad has been living in the humanitarian zone since May of this year, this area is crowded with displaced people, which means food prices are somewhat higher than usual, the funds help purchase essential food supplies for the family despite these challenges.

• Medicines: obtaining essential medication for any illness or emergency.

• Clean drinking water: ensuring safe and clean water for drinking and cooking.

• Transportation: covering the costs of necessary travel to access food, medicine, or medical care, displacement or any emergency that may require the use of transportation.

Since the war began, Mohammed and his family have been repeatedly displaced. The constant upheaval has forced them to start over again and again, bringing heavy expenses, ongoing stress, and a deep sense of loss.

• Payments to intermediaries: a portion of the funds is used to cover commissions or costs of trusted intermediaries who ensure the safe delivery and distribution of resources in the area, these fees are high due to the war conditions, currently around 40% of the transferred amount.

I've personally connected with Mohamed and I'm fully committed to supporting him and his family through this ordeal. Your contribution, no matter how small, can make a world of difference in their lives.
