AAA Family,
One of our own, Levi Moevao, is going through a very difficult time. His wife, Praow, has been very sick this past year causing Levi to rush her in and out of the hospital. What started last year for Praow as lower back pain, quickly grew very severe in a short span of a few months. Praow, the trooper that she is, continued to go to work, even though she was in pain and constantly nauseous. She entered the ER twice, but the doctors told her that it was likely stomach ulcers. She ate crackers and bland food to help quell the sickness.
On Saturday, August 1st of 2015 she was admitted to Long Beach Memorial Hospital and underwent a series of tests. 2 days later, she had a grapefruit-sized malignant tumor and 50% of her liver removed. She spent the next 3 weeks at Long Beach Memorial recovering from surgery and trying to manage her continued pain. Earlier this year her family's fears have become reality and she was informed that her tumor came back.
Levi has been by his wife's side, taking care of her, looking after their 8 year old daughter Zyon, and making frequent hospital visits. He has been taking time off work to make sure Praow is ok. Within the last week her condition had worsened at a very rapid pace. Unfortunately this weekend Praow lost her battle with cancer and has passed.
As we all know in our chosen careers, when we are not here we are not making money. Levi has done an extraordinary job of balancing his personal life as well as work life. We cannot even begin to imagine how difficult this must be for him. I thought I might make a go-fund-me account for him and his family to ease their financial burden, therefore reducing the costs of medical bills and simply providing him the ability to get through this difficult time. If you could consider donating any amount to help him, I'm sure his family would be forever grateful. We want Levi to be able to give 100% of his focus on supporting his family right now.
