بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

Uthman ibn Affan رضي الله عنه reported: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “Whoever builds a mosque for Allah, Allah will build for him a house like it in Paradise.”

We, the family of Belwa Khanom, are raising money to complete the establishment of a masjid as sadaqah jariyah for her. Madina Jame Masjid is located in Lalogram, Sylhet, Bangladesh and will provide prayer facilities and classes teaching the Qur'an and sunnah to the community.

The basic structure of the masjid is complete and friday prayers have commenced. Further funds are required in order to finish the interior (carpets, tiling etc.) as well as ablution and toilet facilities. We wish to make this a masjid which is beloved to Allah and provide a comfortable experience for the attendees where all their needs are met.

Building a masjid is from the greatest forms of worship and one of the first missions of the Prophet ﷺ when he arrived in Madinah. We pray that Allah rewards our late mother and everyone who helps build and maintain this masjid and makes it a form of ongoing good deeds until the day we meet him.
