The critically acclaimed documentary film, The Physics of The Soul (above), makes a cogent case that the current model we use in science to understand living beings is fundamentally incorrect and that if we're going to understand what healing is, we need to understand what life is. To do that, we're going to need a significant paradigm shift in how the scientific community views biological creatures.
The upcoming film, Modern Spiritual Biology, represents exactly this evolutionary leap in science. Scientific Reductionism (or scientific materialism) is perfect if you want to build a bridge, send a satellite to Jupiter or to even transplant a human heart, but it will never be able to create life (or even destroy it).
Human beings are spiritual beings and all lifeforms are spiritual beings, from trees, to frogs, to amoeba to mushrooms and science needs to be able to reexamine itself in the context of a spirituality centric paradigm.
A scientific person will respond to this by saying "tell me what spirit (or spiritual) is so I can study it". The response to any scientist saying this is, tell me what gravity is; tell me what electricity is, tell me what magnetism is!!! Science can't explain what any of those things are so not being able to say what Spirit is shouldn't be an obstacle to having a spirituality based understanding of biology.
There are four major assumptions behind the Modern Scientific Method and these are objectivity, determinism, predictability and empirical discernibly. These have all been undermined to an extent by modern physics and quantum mechanics but as long as we're going to base our science on assumptions, why not use the assumption that living beings are spiritual beings without having to define what spiritual is?
Modern Spiritual Biology is a film that will go into great depth about what a spirituality centric modality of science would look like and how we can utilize scientific methodologies in a realm that does not lend itself readily and easily to independent verification. The film will illustrate in clear detail an alternative model of science based on spirituality and will present information by some of the top researchers in the field how we can develop a new science for biological entities that doesn't assume that life can be reduce to a sequence of electrical impulses and chemical reactions.
