Audrey has seven minutes to finish.
Audrey (25) seems to have her life all figured out– living alone in New York City with her dream job, but the stress of keeping it all together has led to a quasi addiction to “productive” self pleasure. On a morning where everything seems to go wrong, she struggles to finish. Is there something she’s missing? Maybe pleasure takes two and an actual connection.

THE TEAM
Carter Beardmore is a 24 year old director based in New York City. After attending NYU Film School, she began a position working as a development assistant at A24. Her first professional short film, titled “PARTUS” is a grounded sci-fi about women turning into cows, shot entirely on 16mm, and scored using a majority of organic sounds. While maintaining her corporate position, she has worked on several other short films and music videos, most recently directing Sofia Cordoba’s music video “NORMAL”, which has over 80k views on YouTube and screened at NFFTY this year. In addition to directing, Carter works as a production designer and costume designer on short films, and is now the development coordinator at A24.
