Mochi Pals dog boarding and rescue

My name is Nicole. I am a 28 year old volunteer foster parent for the United Yorkie Rescue. I have been a part of this nonprofit organization for the last 4 years. Being a part of the UYR has really opened my eyes to how often so many dogs are left without homes, families, medical care, and are even put to death.

I absolutely love animals. Growing up they were always around and I was always taking care of my neighbors dog and other family members pets. As they are for many these pets were my first friends and playmates.

This love for dogs has grown into a calling over the years. I took that love to a whole new level and decided to volunteer for the United Yorkie Rescue nonprofit group as a foster parent. This was life changing. I am now in hopes of running my own dog sitting and rescue. I currently have a small business called Mochi pals which I run out of my home. I dog sit whenever I have clients approach me through a website called Rover. However, I want to take this even further. I not only want to make my business bigger but I also want the dog sitting to work for a combined rescue.  It would be a combination venture of dog boarding and rescuing. The dogboarding would allow more dogs to be seen by a different community of current dog owners.  This would increase the amount rescued and  placed into homes while helping with some expenses ex. medical and food.

This has been a dream of mine for sometime now and I have come to a point in my life that nothing would make me happier than helping those without voices and that have been forgotten.
