Mochi, 15 years of love
Donation protected
Dear Friends and Family,
Unfortunately, Hilarie and Rex had to say goodbye to their sweet dog Mochi. Dogs are truly members of the family, and nothing can fill that kind of void. To support them, we’ve started a GoFundMe to help with vet costs. If you'd like to also gift in honor of Hilarie’s birthday, even a small donation would mean so much during this tough time.

On Friday night at 11:59 PM, our sweet Mochi passed away. She was more than just a pet—she was family, a source of unconditional love, and a constant comfort for over 15 beautiful years. Her loss has left a deep void in our hearts.
Mochi was deaf and blind, but she never let that stop her from sharing her love with those around her. In her final days, she faced a series of medical challenges with quiet strength. She was diagnosed with severe valvular pulmonic stenosis, myxomatous mitral and tricuspid valve degeneration, and severe pulmonary hypertension.
Mochi was hospitalized for three nights in the ICU, receiving oxygen therapy to help her breathe Despite her serious conditions, Mochi remained brave and resilient. She had suffered over a dozen syncope (fainting) episodes leading up to her hospitalization, but true to her nature, she fought to hide how much she was struggling. Her body was tired, but her heart never gave up.
