Mobility Van for Brian
Donation protected
Hi frens and fellow dog lovers
For those who don't know me, I became disabled in 2008. Since then I've been blessed enough to make progress with my paralysis, earned a degree in Service Dog Education, and start No Limits! where I help people train their dogs to help them mitigate the disabilities with which they struggle. I found a career that lets me be a role model for those like myself.
My current vehicle is a 2007 Prius and is ready to be retired. Having had to break down, load, unload, and reassemble my wheelchair literally a thousand times has wrecked my shoulder. It's necessary for me to upgrade to a mobility vehicle.
I have found a great van for the job and have prequalified for a loan, but I'm in a Catch 22 and I need your help. Because I'm disabled and rely partly on Medi-Cal, I am not allowed to have more than $1000 in cash in savings. I know, It's crazy. Those who have been or are on disability know what I am talking about.
So, here's where I need help. I need to come up with funds for taxes, license, registration, down payment, and installation of hand controls and any other mobility equipment the van needs. Zoe, my clients, and myself would really benefit from any help you could give us. Because I'm a professional dog trainer, I can offer a Free Zoom Lesson for donations over $100!
Thanks to all and many Wags!
