Mobility device for Val

In December last year our sister Val was   at her daughters when she had a major stroke   She is paralysed completely down the right side and is severely limited in her speech.   She is currently in a nursing home and spends most days sitting in a chair.  She does have access to a normal wheelchair but has to rely on someone else to push it.  We  her sisters  Robyn and myself would like to get her a mobility device  so she can regain a bit of independence.   Also maybe  a special app to help with her speech .  Thank you .

We have now told Valerie about getting her a chair and she is very excited.    O/T have  had one designed specially designed for her specific needs  height/weight/ capabilities etc.     
All Val's pension goes towards her upkeep at the aged care home  so she has no surplus to acquire extras.. Val has helped so many people in her life that we feel we must do this to help her. 
She spends her days sitting in this chair apart from when her daughter takes her out for a drive or for a haircut etc.
