i am asking for help because my medical needs and mobility limitations have become very urgent. i am a childhood trafficking and lifelong abuse survivor living with fibromyalgia, complex ptsd, dissociative identity disorder, functional neurological disorder, endometriosis, and dysautonomia. my nervous system has been so severely impacted by trauma that i am now 99% homebound and overwhelmingly housebound.

on a daily basis, i live with fibro pain, depression spirals, migraines, severe sensory sensitivity including allodynia, hyperacusis, and light sensitivity, as well as paralysis, muscle weakness and spasms, functional tics, and psychogenic non-epileptic seizures. leaving home also triggers dissociation because my nervous system is so heightened. these conditions leave me mostly bedbound, make it extremely difficult to work, and keep me from being able to participate in life.

right now, i have no mobility aids besides a cane, and my need is urgent because i cannot get out of bed without a wheelchair as my paralysis heavily progresses. i am trying to access the tools and treatment that could help me regain some movement, stability, and quality of life.

• ketamine treatment, which is about $2,000
• a power chair or similar mobility aid, which costs about $1,000 to $1,500
• intensive psychotherapy and physical therapy, which can cost thousands
