Mobile Wheelchair Lift for Clark County, Ohio

Over the course of the last year, it has become clear that Clark County, Ohio needs a wheelchair lift. Springfield specially has several historic facilities that have staged without wheelchair access, and the summer and fall months are full of outdoor festivals with stages that people with mobility concerns cannot access.

When I first contacted our county disability office, I was told that this is a request they get regularly, but nobody in the area has such equipment. They were able to provide information on the precise lift that would offer the maximum impact. My goal in purchasing this lift is to store it in a central location, and to make both the county disability office and known facilities aware that it is available to be checked out for free for anyone who needs it for an event.

Note: I have been raising money for this lift since August of 2024, with a goal of having it for a wedding that I knew needed in in February 2025. We are still quite a ways from that goal.
