Hi, my name is Devin Jacanin, and I am a Barber from San Diego, CA.

I am fundraising to help minimize material and start-up costs for my first barbershop, Barber by the Beach LLC.

It is a fully mobile 24ft trailer that is fully furnished for men's grooming. I will be based out of UTC, La Jolla, Scripps Ranch, Sorrento Valley, and Mira Mesa.

I will be looking for local companies to create relationships with in order to offer employee discounts. This will help generate clientele and provide a location for the day.

During the pandemic, I saw an industry that for lack of better words; was having the rug pulled from underneath it. This was a collapse of small businesses that had spent years creating relationships and building community. At Barber by the Beach, we will work hard to reestablish that community. This means providing luxury men’s grooming to all our guests while creating an inviting, friendly, home away from home environment.

A Barber by the Beach employee will be proficient with both shears and clippers. Our team members will be specialized in working with all hair types and lengths. You will come to expect quality time, genuine conversation, and sharp haircuts.
